This product is rather costly, but it can perform its function on pretty much any surface. Microsoft has incorporated BlueTrack laser technology to help its mice work on anything apart from glass. Logitech has gone even further on this one. The company’s ‘Darkfield’ technology has enabled this mouse to slide even on glass, making it also show a high extent of precision.
The Logitech Anywhere Mouse MX is engineered to work with any type of laptop. It is rather small, compact and is expected to serve well as a portable peripheral. The pleasing physical form of this product is easy to hold with your palm. The dark, rubberized plastic body is convenient to hold, is attractive and pleasant to touch.
This mouse gives you the option of right and left clicking; it comes with forward and back thumb buttons, a clickwheel (that you can move to the left and the right) and a ‘Windows’ key.
When you click on the wheel on this mouse, scrolling enters the ‘hyperfast’ mode to let you search through lists (e.g. on the Internet) as quickly as possible. Click again to exit this mode and go back to normal scrolling to enable more careful decision-making about which documents you want to choose.
This model has a small USB wireless receiver dongle (the company advises its users to keep it plugged into their computers). This is a ‘unifying’ dongle that you may use to hook up with different compatible peripherals at the same time. Similarly to the laser-tacking system, the wireless showed excellent performance when we reviewed and used it on practice.
The designers of this item have really thought through even the tiniest details. To illustrate, the Logitech Anywhere Mouse XX can fit 2 AA batteries, even though it may only need to use one to function. This is really useful in case you don’t have enough charge when travelling, and can only afford to use 1 battery.

To summarise, this product is alluring, efficient and brilliantly designed to be utilized when travelling on the road, etc. It has quite a few revolutionary characteristics and can be used on any surface. The warranty is rather costly, though.
