Bio-Key SideTouch Fingerprint Reader. Protect your laptop in a modern wa

Who wants to enter the password every time to log in? It takes time and sometimes even annoying. But now, thanks to latest technologies we have more reliable and convenient way to protect our information. Such as a portable fingerprint scanner.
The SideTouch is a little black cube that installs right into a standard USB port on the side (or back) of your gadget. Thanks to the compact form, this device very convenient to take with. So it requires no special drivers or software.
Unfortunately, this device is not very convenient for travel. If you close the lid or put your gadget in the bag, you need to disconnect SideTouch in order not to damage it in the road.
But if your laptop is in one place such as on a table, then this device is perfect for you.

I haven’t quite grasped the whole concept. As far as I know, a lot of modern laptops have built-in fingerprint readers so there’s no need for such devices. And if you lost this little thingie, would you be able to access your computer?

I think even if you loose this fingerprint reader you can still log-in by entering your username and password… This is just my guess but i do hope that that option remains available otherwise it`s gonna be risky indeed because i`m that kind of person who is able to loose just everything, including my tablet which is big enough… so you can imagine what may happen to a little scanner…
I`m really impressed with the idea of it anyway. It may become a great helper! I assume that no one likes to enter all those boring passwords… that can be forgotten sometimes… Yes, this happens to me pretty often so i`d rather buy this gadget 🙂

Not everyone can afford a modern laptop with a built-in fingerprint scanner. For example, my device doesn`t have it but i`m quite pleased with the way it works, so why would i need another one? The only thing i would like to improve is the protection level and the SideTouch could come in handy in this case… Even if you loose it you can always buy another one, i don`t think it`s gonna be too pricey. Still i`m sure it is much cheaper than a new laptop 😉
I`m glad it`s available now and it doesn`t require any drivers or software to install thus it`s easy to use. It`s gonna be a good solution for me. Just can`t wait to try it out!

You guys cannot even imagine how cool this thing is! At first when i just got it i felt like james bond lol It`s so much fun to use it! It`s like a little miracle 🙂 Let the passwords and logins stay in past. Once you try this scanner you will never wanna go back to passwords, i`m telling you 😉 You don`t have to be too clever to use it. It`s so easy.
I have never lost this thing yet so i have no idea what to do then, but i hope it never happens to me 🙂 I guess that problem can be solved, otherwise it would be too riscky… You made me think about it so i`m gonna try to log in without the fingerprint reader, we`ll see what happens 🙂

Looking forward to getting this scanner. I`ve been dreaming about something like this for quite a long time. I do believe that any kind of a password can be ever compared to this thing as it`s not so easy to falsify fingerprints, thus using your own skin pattern to log in is much safer.
I`m pretty sure that in the nearest future they will create a portable eye-scanner as well 🙂 And that would be even more exciting! I like the thought of that our safety level keeps increasing every year and we`ve been provided with a lot of modern things to make our life easier. I have no doubt that bio-keys will become a common thing soon just like bluetooth or wi-fi.
